How does this "official" thing work? Does moderators have to be informed or something?

Probably. It might actually be better for you to create a new thread so we can have all the informative posts consecutively. Ask the mods what they think first though.

My God! I am awake in the middle of the night. Will have to look into this in the morning.

Tbone has them. I just sent him a message on his wall. He'll receive it when he's on. I know we were able to figure Metroid Prime trilogy surpassed like 140-160K on it's first week.

Damn, that's impressive. I think I remember hearing around 700k for Wind Waker HD at some point, so that would be quite a big range for the Top 10.

I'm going to go ahead and doubt that number. The total WW sales of WWHD are 1.57M. Unless, of course, Nintendo doesn't include the Mario Kart 8 free promotion when they give their numbers.

I'm very skeptical about 1.57m. After all, the game was only available on the eShop at launch, it had a bundle with a digital code and it was offered for free with Mario Kart 8. 700k may be too high, but 1.57m also implies notably low digital sales (unless of course the game just had low physical sales, which I'm finding hard to believe).

They may be omitting something. Or maybe I'm just paranoid.

I'm thinking that they didn't count the digital promotion.

If you do end up making a new thread...

Make sure you have everyone involved make their own "Reserved" post so that they don't get interrupted. Also make sure you message everyone, and keep the "Don't Post" signs up until every region we can access is accounted for.

Well, it's not like that was the only game which could be chosen during that promotion, especially in europe. I choose TW 101 for instance since I already have WW on my gamecube.

Btw, did Japan also had that promotion?

Yes it wasn't, but WW was the most popular choice in all regions.

And I don't think japanhad the promotion.

It's amazing that so many VC games sell so well after all their releases and years available.

Well, "Super Mario World" and "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past" were the obvious choices to spend the remaining Club-Nintendo-stars... at least for me.

Reminder to all Europeans: use your remaining stars this week, next week they are gone!

Am I the only one who downloaded Pikmin 3 from the Mario Kart 8 deal?
