Forums - Nintendo - Angry Sun files found in Super Mario Maker through data mining (DLC?), other bits

Maybe it will be free content like Splatoon, though I somewhat doubt that

but I personally hate the angry sun... it's so annoying

On-disc DLC? That would be one of the most awesome things to happen on these forums in quite awhile.

I am no developer but maybe this could be preparing the game for DLC? Perhaps? If it indeed has anything to do with dlc at all of course.

If it is on-disc DLC then there won't be enough popcorn around to deal with what's coming.

For what.  It's on a Nintendo game.  They'll just brush it off like they with Splatoon.

I don' t care if it is on disc or dlc. Just make it free and release a hundred more tools to build our levels and I may love the game again. Please Nintendo, I really want to love this game xD

The more I think about it the more I realise that the game is incomplete. Anyone who had played any of the super mario games know how many things are missing which is a shame. The 30th anniversary deserved so much more.

I'm hoping they release 10 or 15 more enemies, more tools for building the levels, and hopefully more bosses!

F*ck, now I'm getting hyped again xD

That would be my guess.  Remember, though, that some have voiced the option that a developer should not even think about DLC until after a game is shipped or else they should physically damage the part of the brain that handles DLC planning.  I mean, wouldn't this lead to charges that they cut content from the game to make DLC?

Also, N b4, "Nintendo does on-disc DLC the right way."

It could still be just some unfinished content by the release of the game that they kept on disk in case the game is successful and they want to release a DLC that extend this unfinished content, though.

Can't wait for the shitstorm if it's indeed on disk DLC.

I think it's wonderful the forums have evolved to the point where we argue about things that might happen and how people might defend it so if it does come eventually the pointless bitching will be already out of the way!
