Not really. It's a vastly inferior version of the Valkyria Chronicles games, essentially. I mean, if someone has never seen the light, I guess I could see how they might think Codename: STEAM is more than average, but once you go great, you never go back.

Valkyria Chronicles has the disavantages of not being steampunk, not having as much hilarious dialogue, and being for the PS3. That's why it doesn't exactly appeal to me.
