Forums - Nintendo - Brawl CD factories

I finally got my CD Factory Working in Brawl (A custom stage you create where you turn off all items except sandbags then have conveyer belts take them to you so you can wail on them and get stickers and CDs) but I have a problem.

I just reached 250 songs, getting a special message for it even, after that I've never gotten another CD out of my factory, just stickers. I've played nearly two hours and still no CDs.

Do certain requirements in the game have to be met for more CDs to appear beyond a certain point? Or what? Anyone else have this problem? Is there any setting for the CD Factory in Brawl that I don't have set right? Does it matter what the damage ratio is set to?

Uh, you've got all the songs then.

The ripped soundtrack I have on my PC is about 300 songs, but a bunch of those are just short victory flourishes, or Game Over tracks, etc...I'd say there's about 250 full songs.  That's no small number for one game.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Well once I've unlocked the last song in the challenges section I'll know for sure if that's all of them or not.

Actually I have 257 songs unlocked actually with one more to go in Challenges, does anyone know for sure how many songs are in brawl?

According to my ripped list there are a possible 265 total, but some might not be real songs so 258 could be a realistic number.

There are 287 full songs in the game, and 27 victory themes. You should be able to collect all 287.

Edit: Hrmm, maybe not though... but I would think the game would alert you when you've unlocked/collected all songs.

258 songs to complete ur soundtrack, you should recieve a message afterwords.

Thanks. Yeah I realized when scrolling through the 287 that a lot of them weren't full songs. That makes sense. I'm running my own CD factory right now. If anyone wants help designing a simple one, mine looks like this...

Key:

~~ = 1 conveyor belt
[] = 1 floor block (be sure it's a block, not a tile. You need this to act as a wall too)

Factory:

~~

[]~~ ~~ ~~

The conveyor belt on top has 1 blank space between it and the floor block. The ones on the floor run right into the block, where the character you use for the factory will have his back. The second player (yes you need a second controller) will stand on the floor block under the conveyor belt so he's out of the way. The conveyor belt on top will move from left to right, and the 3 on the bottom will move from right to left, so all items will make it to you, where you stand tapping A (I use Bowser).

Edit: Is there any way to check how many songs you've acquired so far?

Go to Data, then Sound Test, and in the songs section you will see a number to the right that should be the number of songs you have.
