How deliciously vague :/

just stay 30FPS but make the circuit open world but full of car and pedestrian (unlike Forza Horizon 2 that lack of crowd ) and put more AA or post processing AA. Then it still be the best look for racing game ). Or they can just save the tech for Drive Club 2 or other racing game.

A track-based racer cannot be open-world with just an update. An open-world is built from the ground up, besides Driveclub's tracks are well-designed and there are too many open-world games these days, I'm tired of them to be honest.

well this is just me thou

Are they ever going to release an updated retail version with all the DLC released so far?

Until that happens I'm not buying the game as there is way too much DLC out there already and the base game is only a part of the total experience now. It would also be an expensive enterprise buying all DLC separately.

Most of the DLC is free, and the paid ones combined with a new copy at $20 would cost you less than $60.

Why would you want to pay more? It's been dirt cheap lately and GAF is jumping all over it.

If you download the PS+ version, I think the upgrade to the base game + season pass is $20 right now.

Not a fan of this style of racing game but it looks fantastic already. I saw it in Gamestop for around $20. For such a low price, I may just buy it to have on my shelf. Hard to imagine what else they can add to it!

I don't buy digital unless I reaaaaaally have to and there's way too much to play at the moment. But yes, that base game + season pass deal for 20 dollars is a great one. Make it retail though! :p

HOW? HOW!!!??? its already the best looking racer ive seen, how are you going to improve it even more?, now im interested.
