Forums - Microsoft - Xbox One 2016 lineup looking solid

ReCore and Sea of Thieves are the most interesting of the bunch for me. I get a Septerra Core-ish vibe from ReCore and I love SC to death. I also love pirates.

Is Fifa Street the same as Fifa Soccer?

Yes it is the exact same. Changing the sizeof the team and the arena does not make the game diferent, its still the same football game, same mechanics, same people, same rules, trick shots and footwork are the only thing that change and that alone does nt make for a full distint game.

Forza horizon might have bigger diferences than fifa street, but at the end of the day, the core mechanics of the game are the same, the goal of the game is the same, the cars are the same, the only thing that changes is the tracks, that you can explore around without having to be in a race, but its till the same game.

yeah and gay sex is the same as straight sex.... Judo fighting is like box fighting..... Walking on two legs is like running on two legs.... Table tennis is like regular tennis, truck driving is like F1 driving....

street soccer is a completely different sport than regular soccer in real life... Street racing and GT racing also....

you're wrong... Period

Or you can tell me why that is, or why you think that is. I gave reasons why I think thouse games are similar, or basicly the same. If your rason are "because I say so" or "it just is" then we really dont have an argument here.

P.S. I like how you put examples of things that are night and day, then asume that the other point has to be to.

^^ By his logic every racing games are the same. I think if Forza Horizon was called just Horizon he would see them as different games but hey a name is all it takes...

They are mostly the same, its like saying is call of duty and battlefield similar? The diference betwen these games are to few. if you like one, you probably will like the other just as  much.

If you where to compare them to The Crew, then I would agree that thouse are totally diferent games. That is when an open world actually makes a diference in the gameplay. But forza, driveclub, gt, dont know what else, the main diference in each are the vissuals.

So an open world game like The Crew is different from a track based game like GT but an open world game like Forza Horizon is the same as a track based game like Forza Motorsports?!?

I have already explained this, in this case, the open world in forza horizon offers no purpose than t drive aimlessly. It can change the tracks in wich you are racing sure, but the end game stands the same. Agroup of people racing over a predeteermine track, with the ssame cars as other games. If you wheret o tell me that in the open world of forza something happens aside from go to this location for a race if you want, then maybe. Thats the thing with the crew and why iis diferent than other racers, you dont just race. you smash cars, run from cops, car mods, robery and all that stuff. there are  even pedestrians in the crew. There is no point in having an open world in horizon, if is devoid of any purpouse, of any objective, wich is why I think it dosent stand out to any other regular racing sim.

What I get from what you say is that you don't know much about Forza Horizon... there is a lot more to do than just race other people and there is a lot of game modes you can't get in Forza Motorsports. You don't have to go from point to point to get new events or cars either. Maybe you should do a little more research about FH2... if TheCrew is different from a track based racer then so is FH...

What I get from what you said is that you think that there is something diferent in Forza horizon not found in other track racers and dont have the confidence in them to make a valid argument, so you dont point them out, since you know I wont bother looking into it.

Anyway, I never said that these games were not good, or not AAA. Jusst that now they seem to be anualise and not much diferent than the others, but that dosent hurt COD, fifa, madden and the like, so no need to get so defensive, it was not a bad thing.

Ehhh... ok... so you talk about a game you know nothing about and tell me you're not going to bother looking for it but you are arguing with me about what type of game it is... lolll... this is hilarious!

Keep it up man...

From that list, X1 2015 >>>>>>> X1 2016 imho. Even diminished, nothing in MS lineup can live up to Halo mainline.

But it's early, I'm sure that list is incomplete.

Posts like this.. just.. wow

You cannot say that Horizon is not much different than the "other racers" when you acknowledge that Horizon is open-world while Motorsport isn't. The fact that there is open-world gameplay means that the two are inherently different. I wouldn't mistake people's confusion due to your inability to make a point as them being defensive, I'm sitting here baffled myself.
