I'm starting too doubt that Recore is AAA considering it was announced at E3 with a Spring 2016 which usually means a game that will release before E3 2016 and we still haven't seen anything of it, so unless the game is delayed I really doubt it's AAA, most likely a downloadable game.

All current gen games are downloadable; if you're talking about the scale of the game, well we've yet to know the details.

Two studios working on a small game is very unlikely. Armature and Comcept had been working for 14 months on ReCore before E3 announcement.

Forza Horizon 2 was released with less than 6 months of advertising.

I think it depends on the budget and seeing how the game is turning, graphics, sounds, gameplay, features etc it's close to AAA... we don't know the scale of the game yet... I hope it lasts if it's any good.

I wouldn't really consider Halo Wars AAA and Sea Of Thieves certainly isn't. But that is a good list. Better year overall than this year and better spread out.

Can we stop counting Forza and MLB in exclusives lists? They pretty much cancel out considering they're both annualized at this point.

Well no because they are still exclusive games yearly or not. Also both game are really high quality.

At some point it was announced tha there would be a beta starting this year but the understanding is that the game will launch next year.  Another fact that people gloss over is that Fable is DX 12 on Xbox One.  IThis is what DX-12 on Xbox One looks like.
