It was this year but we havent heard a release date so it will prob come out next year.

At some point it was announced tha there would be a beta starting this year but the understanding is that the game will launch next year.  Another fact that people gloss over is that Fable is DX 12 on Xbox One.  IThis is what DX-12 on Xbox One looks like.
