Ah, interesting. What's the significance of the 01 in that theory?

January? I don't know, someone said to turn it around to get October but that seems to really be stretching it. But it's just speculation anyway.

Something has to be announced on saturday though, right?

I don't think it's harsh at all. If you have Atlus USA's PR Manager confirming a 2015 release once again, just one month ago and now have him acting as if he apparently wasn't informed of the whole change in plans at all, then you can call out the poor communication that is taking place.
