Look at Warner Brothers. Their games are full of micro-transactions and day one DLC. Disney has terrible games, and they don't know how to manage Star Wars and Marvel games.

There's certainly room for improvement, but I kind disagree about WB - their games are pretty great without paying for the DLC.

Disney only acquired Star Wars and Marvel in the very recent past, but they're taking those franchises in a better direction than LucasArts or Sega were going with them. Here's to hoping Disney yoinks the Stars Wars game licensing away from EA though.

You mean the Lauging Joking Nubnuts? Yeah, they were horrible. Except for Spider-Man: Maximum Carnage, which was good.

Warner brothers made 2015 their own with mkx, Dying light, The Witcher 3 , Batman and mad max.

The Witcher 3 is just being published by WarnerBrothers. MK X was full of bullsquid microtransactions and had a really bad story, Mad Max was boring out of cars, and Dying Light while good, felt more like just Dead Island with a faster pace.. Batman was very good, but the plot was bad.

Disney just recently got Star Wars and Marvel. Unless I'm mistaken, isn't Battlefront their first game Star Wars since acquiring it? Also, we know that Amy Hennig and Visceral's A-team is making a single player Star Wars game that will supposedly be canon. As for Marvel, we only know of the Tellgame that was announced. They still have a lot of time before I'd call them "terrible".

As for Warner Bros, they've released Dying Light, Mortal Kombat X and Batman: Arkham Knight and Mad Max this year. That's a pretty good so far. While the DLC might not be great in MKX or Batman, the base game for both of those were still fantastic. Oh there's also all the Lego games that people really like.

Need to stop focusing on the negatives. Minus DLC Warner has put out some amazing games this year.

I generally don't like massive multimedia conglomerates, but if they put out good games, that's good too. From what I see, they are starting to get into a rhythm this year. I'm thinking Disney or some other massive media company will acquire another major studio, and then we'll see their domination in video games start to unfold.

Then again, they don't release good ones on any platform I own, so I'm safe :^)
