Kinda playing it fast and loose with the word "exclusive" there.

Still waiting to see if NISA are bringing over the Vita version of Stranger of Sword City to the west. They've shown interest in it in the past, but this article makes it seem like Exp. are gonna start bringing over their own games.

Demon Gaze was a decent gridder. I'll have to try Operation Abyss at some point.

Are we calling remakes exclusives now? xD

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

We could have guessed that these were getting an English translation even if nobody said it, considering the abysmally small audience that exists in Japan for the Xbox One.

In order to appeal to the Japanese audience, they are going to make these games extra Japanese. It won't work M$... 😒

Good for the 3 people who were waiting for this.

Sadly, 2 of them don't own an Xbox One :P

It's good for MS to try to get some japanese games, but they should target something bigger and well known. If they start with small or unknown games, it will make 2 or 3 sells, and won't push other japanese developers to use the One. Why would you translate your game and release it on the Xbox one if you can make more sales on the PS4 in Japan only, without even a translation? For example Steins Gate (and at  least one spin off) was on the Xbox 360, Steins Gate 0 is a Playstation exclusivity now...

They need something big if they want to create an audience for these games on Xbox. It kinda worked on the 360 at first, but it stopped too fast...

Actually they doubled down on the Japanese because the English translation has a diminishing effect on the Japanese factor:

Japanese game + English translation = 0 Japanese

Japanese Japanese game + English translation = Japanese game

Laugh it up now, you just wait until these games release and Xbox LIVE goes down with everyone downloading at the same time.

Wouldn't MS want to handle oversea distibution if they are going to call it exclusive ? That'd get them some points in the western JRPG fanbase if they remind people we only got these games because of them.

Should be called Stranger to Redmond City cuz MS aint know what a JRPG is lulz
