Ripped straight from GAF, but this gave me such a laugh that I had to share.

Just FYI, I don't think the game is as bad as people are making out.  I wouldn't buy it at full price but I'm somewhat interested into how it turns out.

 

Anyway, PlayStation is getting Ratchet; Sackboy & Sweet Tooth character heads

That Sackboy one is the stuff of nightmares.  I kinda think the Sweet Tooth one looks cool though.

 

And Xbox is getting Cuphead; Mughead and "Sunset Overdrive" character heads

I'm definitely a fan of Sunset Overdrive.  He was a great character.

PS and XBOX really have no iconic video game characters if that's the best they could come up with. At least add Nathan Drake or something.

hahaha nice try dude, really.

 

anyways, the X1 seems strange... 2 heads from an Indie game (good looking indie game) but I think the Sony ones are better. 3 characters that the fanbase will easily recognise.

and obviously stylised heads (which is the whole point, not someting more normal looking like Drake)

The Sunset Overdrive character is quite normal looking. I still stand by what I said.

You can but its still laughable that you think the likes of Ratchet, Sackboy and Sweet Tooth are not iconic. Everyone knows who they are, PS fans or not.

Never heard of Sweet Tooth tbh. I'm just saying, there's more iconic PS characters out there than Ratchet & Sackboy (Sony just doesn't have the rights to two really iconic ones)... Kratos would be hilarious in a skateboarding game though.

Those are pretty bad Xbox choices.

If the original Xbox was more popular, it had a ton of cool character heads they could have picked from. Blinx, jet set radio future, halo covenant soldiers, but these are just boring :(

Thinking they couldnt get MS to allow any first party characters so they went to Xbox exclusive games that MS dont own. Weird choices.
