For those who don't jump into indie games because they absolutely have to have a physical release, this site might be up your alley:
I play most of what's offered via PS+, and buy them if I really want them. Honestly, indies tend to provide the most purely entertaining game sessions, without the clutter, collectables, online BS, and boring empty parts between the good stuff. They also very rarely overstay their welcome.
Yes, I often buy indies. There are some pretty good ones out there. Just because it's an indie, doesn't automatically make it crap.

I don't really distinguish between indie and publisher-backed anymore to be honest. They both have gems and they both have trash. The budget makes little difference. I enjoy something like Cave Story or Shovel Knight more than 90% of AAA games.

Same here, the only indie I bought myself was probably Cloudberry kingdom on steam. it's not like I have anything against indie developers but let's be honest, most of them are not worth the money
I've bought only one through Steam (The Banner Saga). Every other Indie I own is thanks to PS+.
