Maybe that's the way it used to be (or maybe I haven't watched that many japanese trailers nowaday), but CGI is overused even by japanese companies nowadays.


Overuse of CGI isnt the problem, that started back in the PS1 era. CGI Trailers that do not show gameplay is the problem. Western trailers look like movie trailers,versus Japanese trailers that still are game trailers.
