Avoiding names likely to her mentioned as well as games that got ps3 remasters..
Genji. The ps2 game was good. The ps3 sequel was too outdated for its time
And ofc I have to mention the PS2 Atelier games..I doubt they come cheap though

And better gameplay too. But I guess if you already have the PS3 version it's fine. |
The gameplay is only marginally different, and even then that's entirely because Wander can't keep his balance on the PS3. All that does is make it slightly harder though.
You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt! I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading. After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!
This is my top 10:
1. ssx 3

7. god of war
8. prince of persia: the sands of time

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

SSX Tricky was the best sports game I've ever played and my favorite of the series.
Onimusha had one of the best atmospheres of any series and needs to be brought back with a serious AAA effort.
Disgaea: Hour of Darkness is an absolute classic with some fantastic humor and awesome characters.
Way of the Samurai was really interesting and innovative for its time.
BloodRayne was just a lot of fun with some really cool character designs. Vampires, Nazis, steam-punk Mecha, werewolves, and ancient evil forces are an entertaining mix.
Suikoden 3. I absolutely loved this game and Chris is one of my favorite protagonists ever. It tried a lot of different things, some of which were a bit too ambitious for the technology, but it got so many things right.

-SMT: Persona 3 FES
-SMT: Persona 4
-Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King
-SMT: Nocturne

It doesn't make it harder, just more annoying and frustrating. |
It takes much longer to do some boss fights as compared to the PS2 version due to the heightened sensitivity Wander has. That makes it a more difficult game to beat. I know there were several times on PS3 where I'd HAVE to reclimb because Wander couldn't hold on well and I'd lose all my grip hoping he'd stop so I could regen, one of which almost killed me. That's difficulty by definition, even if it's a cheaper kind of difficulty lol

Beside the obvious choices?
Chaos Theory
Odin Sphere
Burnout 3
Persona 4
Klonoa 2
Okami
God Hand
Probably missed a lot.

One of the games I remember most enjoying on the ps2 was Half Life. It's a brilliant pc game but the ps2 version just seemed to handle really well if anything in a better way than the pc.
'Black' is also very impressive for a ps2 title.
The first 2 Yakuza games are also worth considering.
