Do you realize its cheaper to buy an internal HDD than an external? Do you also realize the performance is almost always better on an internal (most people buy shitty external drives without realizing it) ?

The two benefits of an external are:
1.) You can dynamically add it without having to copy all your current data.
2.) You can use a 3.5" drive instead of just a 2.5".

No, I didn't realise that and neither will most other people. If you want 1tb to be an incentive for people to buy (or rebuy) and XB1 then you do not allow for expternal HDDs. It removes the selling point.

These X1 bundles are becoming retail litter. I guess they might try to find a way to flush them all out for Black Friday, but good grief.

Looks like no one is interested in the Uncharted Collection Bundle. It is ranked 468 in the hourly.. But with the way the other bundles are doing, I doubt Sony care at all lol

Another $400 bundle...
Oh boy if PS4 gets a price cut it won't be even funny.

Well, there is still two or three bundles to get revealed.

I really don't think Sony will do that. The bundles they already have just need a little extra value. Just adding TLOUR or even Driveclub to those bundles would sustain them through November, but they may not even have to bother doing that either.

Two things strike me: MS are now realising why it's a bad strategy to focus everyone's attention on the Christmas period and then cut, cut, cut that price. Consumers are waiting. MS are going to struggle to offer extra incentives because they basically had nothing all year round. Sony can add in MLBTS, Bloodborne, Until Dawn, Tearaway, Everyone's Gone to the Rapture, The Order, Rocket League, GOWR, Journey, TLOUR and Volume (to a lesser degree). Building up a great portfolio of games 'throughout' the year gives you value to add at the end of the year. Not only does this mean they sell less consoles most of the year but they also have to lose profit at the end of the year. Great strategy MS.

The latest bundle shows how they've had nothing for most of the year.

This is basically ALL they've had all year. They've done a better job of showing the contrast with this bundle than any list could:

If you look up facts in the dictionary, this post would be listed.

Really sad the PS4 has no games talk is still going around. So much focus on 2 months of the year. Even still PS4 has more released games. It's crazy.

Another hour or two, X1 will have zero consoles in the hourly top 100. The Forza bundle is currently sitting at #96, and it's the only one in the top 100 hourly.

Goodbye September, hello October:

#15 PS4 Destiny Bundle
#31 PS4 TLOUR Bundle
#61 PS4 Black Ops Bundle
#66 WiiU Deluxe
#69 PS4 Fool's Edition
#76 PS4 Star Wars Bundle
#96 XB1 Forza 6 Bundle

Halo has GOT to be big.

It will, though not as big as usual.

I think Sony is going nick October now. November has now become the interesting month as far as I'm concerned.

Geez, you guys gotta calm down on treating the hourlies as gospel. As it currently stands, the PS4 has two SKUs in the top 100 monthly chart counting for this month, while the XBO has three. Granted, PS4 is @ #9 & #83, while the XBO is @ #53, #92 & #94, but I think you guys are severely overestimating the significance of this hourly snapshot, even though it has been going on for a few days.

Every day eventually adds up to a month. PS4 wins this month easily and I know that NOT because I look at the monthlies but because I follow the dailies, which then gets reported eventually in the monthlies. Why wait a whole month when you can see the potentail result at the beginning of the month, the likely result in the middle of the month and the outcome towards the end of the month? If people just want to wait until the end of the month that's fine. I prefer watching how it goes ALL month. Keeping up with the dailies has produced a 100% record for who eventually appears in the lead in the monthlies.
