So some people thought Pokken fighters would skip Wii U in the favor for NX, but now that its confirmed for Wii U, you still think it will come to the NX? as a port or maybe a remaster. Personally i doubt it. I dont think Nintendo is gonna have all Wii U games on the NX, just because maybe they will sell better on there. Also if a fair amount of people buy Pokken fighters for the Wii U, they probably wont buy it on the NX aswell.

Why port when you can sequel. There's hundreds of Pokemon, getting a roster large enough to warrant a sequel would be super easy. And a sequel will get more hype. And can be built from the ground up for the system.

It really depends if NX will be backwards compatible.That would solve alot of problems

I don't think so. Pokken probably isn't something big enough for an entire port. I can see them puting a sequel on NX, though.

It would be a solid launch title. An ultimate edition with all the DLC available and a few new playable fighters would justify a port to the NX.

It'd be a perfect launch title for the system, but I don't know if Nintendo would put the time and resources into making a port.

I am thinking that everyone might be wrong about the NX and Nintendo was beeing oblivious as usual.

When it was just one game it was plausable, but for two games to be dual releases? The NX portfolio will be nothing but Wii U ports. I dont think the NX is coming out next year at all after this. We are having another year of Wii U for sure. NX wont come out before 2017 most probably.

Maybe but I think it will be on VC rather than a launch port unless the NX has BC

Although, another 2016 game for the wiiU... So the NX situation is continuing to become more interensting

eh, PS4/Xbox One got a lot of cross gen ports and what not. Don't see why it would be a problem for NX, especially since Nintendo will be targeting a bigger audience than the Wii U had so people that won't have bought/played those games before. As long as it launches with some new stuff all to itself and preferably all the big 3rd party multiplats as well then it will be fine.


The Wii U was targeting a greater audience than the Wii. Doesnt mean they manage to actually do it. We dont even know what it is... but if its major offerings are ports of the Wii U ( seen as a generation behind already) then i dont see how they are going to convince anyone. There is something about the NX that we are not seeing. I dont think it will replace the Wii U after this, if its coming in 2016. It will be a parallel device.

If its a new console then its not coming before 2017. I'm perfectly convinced of that now.
