Forums - Sony - Just bought a PS4! Need some advice...

Seems like Bloodborne is the clear winner amongst all PS4 owners, I was thinking about it but I'm worried it'll be repetitive (from the guy that loves Ryse lol).

Infamous seems like a great title too, I had the first one for PS3 but never got to finish it. Surprised nobody said Killzone, I thought that was a graphical powerhouse.

To be honest, I completely forgot about Killzone

Uncharted - the nathan drake collection.

*if you havnt played them already.

It's not repetitive at all, the enemies act very distinct ly from one another and all the primary weapons have multiple forms that are very unique form one another. Pacing is great it can be difficult however if you are new to From games.

Edit: it can be repetitive if you die alot IE having to kill all the same shit over and over.

Best exclusives right now:

the last of us: not the perfect game to show off the graphics but if you haven't played it yet, it's a must have.
Infamous SS and first light: both are one of the best graphics this gen and are very fun to play.
Bloodborne: a very good looking game.

Average exclusives
killzone SF and The order: both are a very good tech demo graphics wise but don't expect much from them.

I could see that. Ryse was easy mode, Bloodborne is more challenging. Do you like challenging games?

s="new_post_content">PS4 isn't an FPS box, so a mediocre FPS isn't going to get as much recognition.

Definitely love a good challenging game so Bloodborne will be added to my list to get tomorrow.

So far, I'm leaning towards Bloodborne, Killzone (because it's very cheap now), and Driveclub or inFamous.

Welcome to the club. I was a big Xbox fan until this generation as well. The original was my Sega machine, the 360 was wonderful, but now is the time for the PS4.

If you like fighting games:
Guilty Gear Xrd is a must.
The Order: 1866 is the PS4 tech demo
Drive Club is up there with Forza Horizon 2 for my favorite racer (arcade racer)
Bloodborne is a must
Last of Us can be had digitally for cheap. ($12.74)

If you like quality indie games. PS plus pays for itself.

Thank you very much for that website. I didn't plan on buying the Last of Us any time soon, but... I'm now in the process of downloading it. Go figure. Thanks!

On topic, I'm also in agreement with the lists I've seen here. As for PS Plus, I personally love it and don't play online games, but I mainly use the free games on my Vita, rarely ps3/4. But if you have multiple consoles it's a no-brainer, and like it's been suggested, just wait until you see a cool free game you like before you subscribe.

Glad I can help someone. The site is amazing! Everytime a game is bundled, I know I can find it for 50% off withing a month. I got LBP3 three weeks after release for $24.99.

Last of Us is one of my favorite games, and I'm not a huge fan of the genre so you are in for a treat.

Bloodborne is a must.
