OT: Let's see Smash, SFV, MKX should make the top 5, Tekken 7 as well I guess, Killer Instinct kinda disqualified itself by being F2P so it can't be counted. I'm assuming we're counting stuff like these Naruto and Dragon Ball games as well, since Pokken is probably closer to those than it is to something like Street Fighter. Is there anything else of note that could come that I'm forgetting? Sure Pokken could hit the top 5 on a list like that. May be harder if there's another Mortal Kombat though.

Edit: Oh Soul Calibur, that as well.


Though im not that wagon, TBF wiiu install base probably doesnt have the Pokemon fans aboard like they are on 3DS, Pokken Fighters could be the biggest system seller based on that for WiiU. :0

I guess it should be in top 10 best selling fighting games this gen, but then again, very few fighting games sell well these days.

Considering the fact that it's Pokemon related, and the fact that fighting games simply do not sell like they did 15+ years ago, then yeah, I'd say it very well could.
