I had a feeling this topic was going to make a return after today's news.

You're faith in Konami is admirable, Charming even, but ultimately mistaken.

This is not the first time a games company has had a survey like this in some form or another. You might forgive/not care about what Konami has done as of late, but the very fact that you sarcastically use "Super Evil" means that you recognize that Konami is pretty hated right now. And they earned that hate.

This survey is meaningless until Konami has good credibility, doing as a way to try and make amends is foolish, nobody is going to trust Konami right now. So those who are more concern with getting the games they want can feel free to do the survey, pray for the best and prepare for the most likely.

You want people to give Konami, the benefit of the doubt, that's ok, we're all gamers and we understand.

But "Please understand", for many gamers Konami has left no doubt in their minds about what they will do, either it be Castlevania Pachinko machines or Killing the Silent Hill game cause of a dispute with Kojima. Konami has to earn that doubt back. Until they do something with that survey, that isn't going to change.
