Fact: Nobody knows anything save about nx. I could be a handheld, console or even a OS, a tablet or whatever. We will see when we got a official annoucnement without guesses and intuitions.

btw: i know when sony will do a ps4 pricecut but i will not tell you. Just seach on this forum, here and there are some hints. When sony make the pricecut i will say " i told you months ago". I also know all NX launchgames, i know nx release date, i know ps5 specs, i know doomsdays date, i know who will be the next president in the US, i know everything, i just wont tell you for reasons...or because its anywhere here on the forums. I saw those threads and it was nothing but speculation.

There are dozens of things that could easily be heavily missinterpreted and the whole "guess" would be completly wrong.

So no. We still dont know what NX is.

I will just ask you some question. Answering it shouldnt be to hard.

1. How powerfull will NX be?

2. Which architecture will XN have?

3. Will NX be BC to wii u?

4. Will NX have any kind of gimmick and what will it be?

5. When is NX release date? At least, what year?

6. What will be the price?

If it was mere speculation, I wouldn't have been so spot on. I didn't pull those predictions out of my ass - I based them on things Nintendo has been saying and practicing for years. They could have been misinterpreted, but they weren't, because there's enough crossing info out there to squash major misinterpretation like that. 100 slightly different vague statements make for 10 explicitely clear ones.

1. The handheld will be significantly more powerful than the Vita. The console around PS4/XBO level. It's expected to run DQX, to it has to be, though I think it'll err towards being the weakest of the three.

2. No clue, though it'll likely be similar enough to the Wii U for full digital BC. Can't say it won't be x86, but if that means scrapping Wii U eshop BC, it 100% ain't happening.

3. Yep. Likely 3DS, too. Digitally for both.

4. The unified platform is the gimmick. Being able to share a library across multiple hardware interfaces.

5. Next year. Likely the end of November. Wouldn't be surprised if the handheld came out in the summer too.

6. Handheld between $200-$250. Console between $300-$400. Unless Nintendo pulls something out of their ass to make it cheaper. I doubt no disk drive is that solution.

It will not be a blockbuster on Wii U but on NX

I don't think it will be, they will probably launch it closer to the holidays.

X86 and PowerPC Cpus dont work in handhelds. To much power consumption and heat on cheaper models and to high price for things like Intel Core M (which is still not as powerfull). If NX is Handheld and Console with cross games they need same architecture, so ARM CPUS are a must have for the Handheld and for the console too. ARM are to weak to get powerwhise anything near Xbox One / Ps4. The most powerfull chips (Tegra K1 in shield console) need a power supply and are on Wii-U´s Powerlevel. Also ARM wont give easy Ps4/xbox one/pc ports and no BC.

So i think the concept really sounds great and i agree that something like this would fit nintendos hints, but i dont think they are possible.

If its really thats fusion concept, we wont get something much stronger as wii u. The maximum power of the Handheld for 250-300€ is wii u´s level in terms of power. Remember games like Project cars? Wii u is to weak to run the game, even in 720p. So multiplats would not happen on this fusion concept.
