Forums - Gaming - PS Now: Endless Streaming Is Now #1 Most Wanted Feature Of All Time!

Only took you how many threads on how many forums to achieve that?

It just isn't viable for Sony, especially for 3rd party games where they (Sony) only get a small cut. And it would require a massive effort from Sony to get the PSNow infrastructure up to snuff with that, and it would cost them a shittonne of money, and I can assure you Sony aren't interested on focusing on that.

I'm surprised that PS still doesn't have the name changing feature. MS charges $10 for it which is a rip off, but it would be easy money for Sony if they charged a similar amount.

They said it was to discourage people from griefing you one day, changing their name, and then coming back and griefing you again.  If somebody really wants to change their name, the fee isn't too high but it's high enough to keep people from getting away with that.

It's kind of moot, though.  Both PS4 and Xbox One allow you to use your real name on the consoles.

Sounds like bad database management to me, if someone does give you grief one day and you block them, then their ID number is blocked, no matter what Username or email is attached.

Eitherway, easy money for MS really. Moot, maybe but I don't let people see my real name. :P

Hmm, pie.

Omg only nonsense demands in the top instead having actually usefull features lik BC for ps1, 2

being able to change your name doesn't seem that preposterous.

I am Iron Man

Let me guess ( Still haven't looked at OP or any other posts ): It's BC isn't it.

Edit: Hmm Interesting. I hate the idea though.

Having access to 7000 more games via local disk games or digital in the store is more important for the ps4

If you have access to 7000 disc based PS1 and PS2 games isn't exactly on Sony's priorities, doesn't make them any money. However making them work digitally is. Well, you'd think. Not sure how profitable PS1 classics are/were on PS3.

Besides, it's funny to see grown adults playing games and insulting you when their username is xXxSnyperzxXx69.

I'd also like old dead usernames freed up. If someone hasn't used their account since they set it up in 2007, it should be opened again for use. This is highly unlikely though.

Yes it would make sony money because new people would buy the ps4 to play older ps2 and ps1 games with upscaled resolution in progressive scan and recording and streaming footage for them. And if sony is smart they remove the region lockfor both platforms on ps4.

i still want to move all my trophies and DLCs from my previous account to the current one.
