If you have access to 7000 disc based PS1 and PS2 games isn't exactly on Sony's priorities, doesn't make them any money. However making them work digitally is. Well, you'd think. Not sure how profitable PS1 classics are/were on PS3.

I'd also like old dead usernames freed up. If someone hasn't used their account since they set it up in 2007, it should be opened again for use. This is highly unlikely though.


Yes it would make sony money because new people would buy the ps4 to play older ps2 and ps1 games with upscaled resolution in progressive scan and recording and streaming footage for them. And if sony is smart they remove the region lockfor both platforms on ps4.
