Eh, they were quite up front with that it in that it had a duration. They've been clear with this, Scalebound, QB, Gears 4, Forza 6 (all of them really), Halo 5 and Crackdown 3 were exclusive and clear in Halo Wars 2, Gigantic and Sea of Thieves were not. PC can have a bone or 2.

Until otherwise, this goes in the "PC release plz?" pile along with Sunset overdrive, Forza Horizon and Halo 3. Gears of War 2 eh? wattawait.

The placement was to much to be an accident. It's just as likely this goes into marketing breach category.

Most console competitors don't view PC as a threat. Put all your new ips on PC is smart because it can make it a bigger franchise.

Except if MS wanted people to think this was XB1 exclusive, they could just have easily done so with Halo Wars 2, Gigantic and Sea of Thieves as well, which they haven't. Or they could have corrected the issue with Re-core like they did SoT, which they haven't.

At the moment, the official site reads as Xbox One exclusive. Halo Wars 2 and Fable Legends say Xbox One and W10 exclusive.

So is some no-name "artsy" filler game more important to be believed an XB1 exclusive then Halo Wars 2 or Fable ? I think not.

As for mistakes

They happen. I just feel bad for the PC people pointing to Steam Entries showing Halo 3 is coming. It's 8 frigging years already. It's not going to happen.
