I easily see Battlefront being the defacto present for a 10-15 audience this holiday actually, so the PS4 version might beat Halo 5 by the end of the year

Also, here my guess for the US:

OCTOBER
Halo 5: 2,000,000

NOVEMBER
Battlefront: 2,400,000
Halo 5: 900,000

DECEMBER
Battlefront: 1,200,000
Halo 5: 600,000

TOTAL 3 MONTHS SALES
Battlefront: 3,600,000
Halo 5: 3,500,000


Pretty damn close, but i think Battlefront will beat Halo 5 in 2015, BUT, lifetime, Halo will be bigger. is a very strong IP in the US.

Battlefront on all platforms should outsell it.
Battlefront PS4 vs Halo could be close, but that's a laaaaaaaaarge userbase difference.
Battlefront Xbone vs Halo should be Halo pretty easily.

I'm saying halo will win, I was actually going to get battlefront but there isn't a story behind the game and it just doesn't appeal to me anymore. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Believe it or not, people do see value in a single player even if it is sub-par. 

Isn't that why some gamers didn't like Titanfall? While yes, some of it had to do with content itself.

I only see value in single player story mode. Multiplayer should be an added extra after you finish the story, imo. I will never buy a game which is multiplayer only. Hell, even in Destiny, i'd avoid other people as much as i could, and do as much stuff on my own that i could.

I'm one of those people. I enjoy a good single player camapign with a story. I can't stand doing the same crap over and over again on multiplayer.

overall obviously battlefront.
3 system with a installed hw base of 60mio+ vs halo on xbox one installed hw base 15mio.
No chances for halo.

Also starwars will get a big boost from the movie.

Overall = Battlefront
Ps4 vs xbox = Battlefront
Xbox only = tie (+/- 100k)
