Forums - Sony - just finished tlou remastered....

and i get it but i dont like it. The ending i mean. Great game(play), atmosphere, story. It's hard to cheer for what Joel did. Next game: Bloodborne

Around the Network

I think Joel was very selfish. I understand why he did it but I don't agree regardless. I also felt sorry for the Fireflies, they were just trying to do the right thing. Poor Ethan in particular >_>

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

That's kind of the point for you to ponder about the ending. But personally I was with Joel the whole fucking time, didn't even care xD

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

Did you download boobs again Joel?

I think that is exactly why it is so good. The ending is morally ambiguous.

I think a sign of a good tragedy is not being able to blame people for what happened. Put yourself in Joel's shoes and do you think you would do the same? Also, on the side of the fireflies, they were trying to do the right thing but does the end justify the means? I thought it was cool in that there was no real right and wrong. Just different perspectives and conflict because of it. Similar to real life in many ways.

Joel is the true villain of the game.

You're not supposed to cheer for him.

I think it'd be harder to cheer for the other alternative

It's not worth it sacrifice for people you don't know/care, Joel did the right thing even though it was a little selfish

Joel saw his daughter on Ellie, and after all they went through together it was too strong of a bond.
Also, you seems to have beaten it really fast, I hope you payed atention to everything that was happening and how undeserving of the cure humanity was and wonder if you would give your daughter for them.
Of course it's totally up to you to agree or not, but I would also choose what Joel did.

i played it in about 20 hours to the end. I know that he didn't want to relive what happened to his daughter. But ellie could save a lot of lives! A lot! And she also wanted to do it her self. Or that is what we let to believe. But one life for many. They are all grey areas, but the fireflies just wanted to get a cure. And Joel made a bad egoistic decision and also lied to her about it.

It's something to ponder about. But i did and i don't like it.

I definitely would have done what Joel did. I mean, how can you not want to save Ellie? Besides, the fireflies were dicks.

Why would you save one instead of many others?
