Welcome to the PS Plus "Vote to Play" thread!

For those who don't know "Vote to Play" asks PlayStation Plus members to vote on one of several PlayStation 4 games to be included in the upcoming month’s game line-up. The game with the most votes will automatically be included in the future monthly games line-up.

If your favorite doesn't win, it's not a total loss. Sony promises that, in the first promotion, PS+ members can purchase the runners-up at a discounted price. So far, "Vote to Play" will not be a monthly feature (bummer) but will take place at regular intervals throughout the year.

In this thread, you can read and watch more about each game, debate the winner, and pick your favorite.

Welcome!

Note:

Voting starts Thursday, August 13th at 8:30 AM Pacific and ends Monday, August 24th, at 8:30 AM Pacific. The final result will be revealed after voting closes. If you’re a PS Plus member and you want to cast your vote, simply log on to PS4 with your PSN account, and access Vote to Play under “What’s New,” “Notifications,” or visit the PS Plus section of the PlayStation Store, where you’ll find details for Vote to Play.

Game #1: Armello

A grim fairy-tale board game come to life, combining deep, tactical card play, rich tabletop strategy, and RPG elements. Set in a vibrant magical world with a tinge of darkness, Armello thrusts players into an epic struggle for power as they quest, scheme, explore, vanquish monsters, perform the mad king’s royal edicts, and face off against other players, with one ultimate end goal in mind — storming the palace and becoming King or Queen of Armello.

Game #2: Grow Home

You play BUD (Botanical. Utility. Droid), a robot on a mission to find the Star Plant and save his planet. Discover a strange open-world: a planet of floating islands, with precipitous drops, caves and waterfalls to navigate, all rendered in a minimalist but beautiful art style. Grow the giant Star Plant and use your unique climbing abilities to reach ever higher ground, but be careful as you ascend because one wrong move and it’s a long way down!

Metacritic: 75 (PC)

Game #3: Zombie Vikings

From the creators of last year’s indie hit Stick It to The Man! comes a new co-op, four-player stab-you-in-the-gut-a-thon with a dead-funny adventure. Hack through the boiling gingerbread swamps of Molgaga, take a cruise through the intestines of the Midgaard Serpent, fight giant troll poultry, and find out how Söccer was really invented.

Voting begins today! Which game will you pick? Which game do you think will get the most votes?

I am caught between Grow Home and Armello. They both look really solid.
I think Sony really nailed it this time with the voting system. Because in the end, the games that don't win will wind up with more sales anyway with the discount program. Plus its becomes a lot more difficult to criticize the program when we are involved in the voting process.

Voting for Armello because it simply interests me the most.

Think I'm leaning towards Grow Home right now, though I am not particularly looking forward to any of them.

i'm voting for armello. a board game style game will be a pleasantly unique game among the rest of my library. all three look good though so i'll be fine with any of them. grow home seems to be the favorite from what i've seen on the forums.

Armello looked pretty fun in the video Giant Bomb recently put out. Grow Home looks pretty good aswell (although it's "procedural animations" look kinda bad) - I'm not that interested in the Zombie Vikings game, yet I did enjoy my time with Stick it to the Man and some of my friends recently got PS+, so a coop game could actually be pretty nice.
