Already have XB1 and I've no interest in PC gaming. It would be fun to play together with my masterrace friends tho.

Yes, Windows 10 is too much of a deal for Microsoft not to move the XBox brand to be integrated with the new OS.

Crossplay has been proven to work well between consoles and PC. I can't even tell the difference between a PC or a PS4 user when playing Rocket League.

The only downside so far is that consoles get achivements support and other minor things like parties and invites.

But Microsoft could fill that gap once XBL comes to PC and create a pretty good and inviting enviroment.

So basically MS is saying you don't need an Xbox.

While they obviously aren't coming out to say it, I think this is as clear an indication as any that MS does plan to abandon Xbox dedicated hardware support. I see them trying to become steam and having Xbox become more like the steambox and supported by multiple manufacturers.

So theres basically no reason at all to buy an xbox one then?

They even plan on streaming Xbox One to PC. In a way, it makes the console less desirable but I guess m$ just wants money any way they can get it.

Why should somebody buy a Xbox One now?

Now is the right time to buy a pc.

LOL Not interested in any of those games except maybe QB,but if I was this would save me money since I would not need to buy an X1 to play them.It is actually the right move, because none of those games will sell well on the X1.Crackdown was never a huge seller despite being a multiplayer shooter.

Steam probably has the best business model that can be build nowadays.

If Microsoft wants to build something similar, I honestly wouldn't mind being able to play their exclusives in other platforms.

With that being said, I don't think that there is any convenience in investing in an XB1 when Microsoft is clearly moving forward to PC.
