The game wasn't that big or known to begin with. The only sales it was going to get were from people that glanced at it and for some reason thought it was more interesting then current wii u games.

I think they showed it off at E3, don't remember anything from Gamescom though.

I think you're forgetting just how badly it did in Japan:

3DS version didn't chart.
Even if it were a megabomba for NISA (and I think it will be), it's going to outsell Japanese sales. But I guess it depends what your definition of "perform worse" is :P
I think it's quite sad what's happening with this game. It looks good. But it doesn't seem to be attracting any Nintendo fans, and the NISA-faithful either don't own a WiiU or 3DS or just don't seem interested in it since it's not their usual kind of game.
This game doesn't look like it will do very well, especially with these delays..

Don't think there will be enough copies out there for it to reach the discount bin.... I can see this game becoming rare very quickly

Rare and in demand are two different things. If the game fails as badly as it did in Japan, stores will be begging people to take their extra copies after awhile.

While I'm not a massive fan of another Rodea thread turning into a discussion about Gravity Rush (and I know you didn't start that!), I don't understand this comment. Gravity Rush started development 7 years ago.

Is that a common thing?
I'm just saying that I'm fairly certain that Rodea's development isn't a ripoff of Gravity Rush. They're entirely separate.
