If it is on Netflix or Crunchy Roll I'll check it out.

Both Zero and Stay/Night: UBW are on Crunchyroll.  Zero is also on Netflix.

Thank you.

Oh wow.  Hadn't looked at Netflix in a while.  That's pretty sweet.

Tried to get into this anime series but got bored fast and dropped.

Btw i dont know about you guys but i feel like anime is in a garbage state right now , i never find anything new that i liked , old animes ftw.

I strongly disagree.  I've been watching anime since we had to trade VHS tapes in the mail to get anything good and I consider this one of the best periods for anime in my memory.  The quality is up across the board, with less throw-away anime than I've ever seen before, and we have more variety than ever.  Comedic anime has been on a real boom over the last few years and, with a lot of source material being taken from light novels, we're getting some good imaginative works.  Anime with a more realistic basis, like Chihayafuru and Shirobako, are at an absolute high and the same can be said for slice-of-life titles.

It used to be that we'd get a couple higher quality anime in a season and then a real drop in values for the rest.  We would also see a lot more fad-based anime, with series being made that didn't really deserve the honor, except that someone was trying to cash in on magical girls, mecha, or whatever else was popular at the time.  We still see that, of course, but we're getting more projects made from sources that deserve the spot-light based on their own merits.

The only complaint that seems valid to me, that I can think of off-hand, is if someone didn't feel like a particular type of anime was being made at the same rate as before--but that's not about quality, that's about personal taste.  Obviously, those two criteria are not the same.

I admit that my personal tastes in anime has not really been met these last few years. It is, as you said  a lot of slice-of-life and comedy. I cannot remember the last anime that I felt compelled to own or rewatch.

I'm actually looking forward to the Heavens Feel movie. :)

As someone who only occasionally is able to dig into a slife of life anime, and only periodically watches comedy, I can safely say there is still a ton of diverse, quality content that's been produced these past few years.

Don't get me wrong, I do find stuff to watch every season, but nothing as good or as memorable (to me) as the older stuff.
