Forums - Microsoft - Kotaku: Unfortunately, Quantum Break looks a bit rubbish

I don't get all the hate for this article.

Always the same reaction whenever a website writes something bad about a game.

Some of their concerns are justified. I too have had QB on my radar for a while and even liked the Gamescom footage. But the more details I know about the "live action", the more it's killing the game for me.

Let's just be thankful we still have websites that still speak out on exactly what they think and not ones that worry about their sponsors.

It could have had a less inflammatory headline though ...

The PS5 Exists.

Some comments here makes me think a little...

1. Kotaku's editor was impressed by the demo showed at conference and told us about that
2. Kotaku's editor changed his mid after see more about the demo outside the conference and told us about that

He just got disappointed because the game was not what he was excited from what he saw on the conference.

And it makes sense because the conference footage was made to be impressive more than the actual game... a lot of conference footage looks like that... a showcase.

Can he change the mind again? Of course if the game gets better over the time.

Or he lied :).

Yep, it's the same guy. He saw the same footage we saw at the conference and thought "Hey, it looks excellent !". And then he saw more of the game and it disappointed him. Nothing to laugh at.

That's seems logical, and it shows that he's being honest, he's not a "MS hater" or anything like that.

Witch time?

There are more chance to he saw more about the game and get disapointed (he even cited that on the second article)... why did you think he lied?

Is he lying here http://www.kotaku.co.uk/2015/08/10/crackdown-3-shows-what-the-xbox-one-can-really-do?

If the critic is positve = Truth
If the critic is negative = Click bait/lies

It looks like Kotaku weren't the only ones underwhelmed by QB...

Maybe some people just genuinely don't think it looks good?

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Except we all saw those same elements he's complaining about at Gamescom, too. And prior to that. It's not as if platforming and gunplay were revealed at Gamescom.

So yeah, it is funny and worth laughing at to see the same person on opposite ends of the same spectrum within days of each article, and without having even played the game. You're welcome to disagree.
