Thats because those consoles had other problems, ps4 doesnt have those problems, and as the destiny bundle showed, they do work.


They're short term gains though. That's my point. If the PS4 were losing right now, a bundle certainly isn't going to pull it ahead unless it was so close in sales that the temp boost would allow it to happen. But even then, that boost will even out and subside and sales will return to pre bundle levels.

Sony has that crowd on lock down. They are tapping into the dudebro crowd now.

Strategically they made the correct choice (if it was available).

More importantly, nobody knew they were for sale.... Hard to start negotiations when you don't know something is available.
