why we are going back on 2013 , i am curious

So the singleplayer will have the same destruction right? Which means they are using "The Cloud" to just help with MP info.
That's a first....Unless you count MAG, Battlefield, or dozens of other online shooters.
Prediction for console Lifetime sales:
Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million
[Prediction Made 11/5/2009]
3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m
I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

Well ok I stand by my "I will believe it when I see it" and that sucks for people who like the singleplayer (The focus of the series up until this point).

Why does it suck, though? You can't do right here, I guess. If you make single-player dependant on internet, people aren't happy, if you make single-player possible for offline users, people again aren't happy.
I like the idea of having a "usual" Crackdown for singleplayer and an even better multiplayer part, showing a brand new tech. But I guess anyone can make make of it what he wants.

Doesn't matter, third party games won't use it. Unless sony uses it too.
I've never played Crackdown and wasn't really interested in it before seeing that destruction demo. Looks very, very cool. Hopefully they can create something cool with this cloud thing and evolve it from there. They might be on to something.
"A single Xbox One would never be able to process the destruction effects on its own, but by tapping into the cloud it’s able to exceed its own limitations. This is why such a distinction is made between offline and online mode, and why the single-player features much more simplified destruction (and apparently a different city)."
From the metro article linked above.
