World of Warcraft seems to be declining quite a bit. Although I think that happens pretty regularly and then a new expansion bumps the numbers back up right?

Diablo III's sales are crazy good! Hard to believe it sold 30m! :o

This time the decline is real. 10m at jan 1 novv at 5.6m. Nevv xpac is being announced at gamescom (9 months after last xpac released...)

Wow, Blizzard really rakes in the money. Forget Call of Duty, the Blizzard side is where it's at. WoW is finally dying though, but what can you expect after 12 or something years. They'll just continue makes billions with Hearthstone though.

WOAH WOAH WOAH... Those Diablo 3 sales can't be real. o.o

Diablo III was at over 20m before the last expansion be out guys... it is fine to be at 30m now.

I'm trying to make a breakdown for Hearthstone®: Heroes of Warcraft & Heroes of the Storm & Destiny.

Before
Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft 30m
Destiny 20m

Now
Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft ? > 30m
Destiny ? > 20m
Heroes of the Storm ?

We have a difference of 20m here to be distributed in these 3 games... last quarter Destiny increased the number in 4 million... and it have a expansion HoW released in May... so I will give 5m for Destiny.
I guess Hearthstone increased more than Destiny so maybe 8m?

My guesses...

Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft 38m+
Destiny 25m+
Heroes of the Storm 7m+

I don't think Heroes of the Storm crossed 10m in too little time (one or two weeks)... so I will stay with these numbers.

Maybe they will finally stop trying to cater to the casuals and actually make a good expansion, graph speaks for itself. The game was at it's peak when it was still "hardcore"

You can tell how far things are falling for Wow, when a game traditionally announced at Gamescom (Diablo 2, LOD, Diablo 3 and Reaper of souls) has its expansion moved to being Blizcons main announcement and Wows expansion is moved there instead.

Shame really, as I was looking forward to a new Diablo expansion. I went back to Wow for the last expansion and realized not having daily quest, faction rep and traditional worthwhile crafting, meant unless you liked sitting in Garrison all day between raids, you were pretty much done. Looks like half of the 10 million who went back thought the same.

Still waiting for the bundled PC version of Diablo III and its expansion with a better price. But that sales on Diablo III though is really awesome.
