LOL. I cannot imagine what was going through Rodgers mind when he turns around off a play fake and Ware is barreling down on him. And then Ware strip him and flings him aside like he was nothing.

Supposably top defense, and they are at home. So really tough for any team on offense. If it was in Green Bay might have been able to disrupt Manning.

Forget this week; try the whole season.

Green Bay why? Why? lol. Dammit.
And yes, the refs have been utterly retardulated for the entire year. They really need an AI system, digital ball tracking, and every-play review to start fixing this garbage.
They just boned GB out of a first down on forward progress just because the receiver was tossed backwards.
Aaron Rodgers total was 76 yards? Holy :(
Dallas will trade Brandon Weeden for him ;) Hahah all the great players have some off games though. That Denver D is outrageous.

He bounced off the defender and then fumbled. AFAIK you lose forward progress when you fumble. The spot of the fumble becomes the spot. Had he not ping pong'd off they likely would have blown it dead. I'd rather they let guys play until it's actually a dead ball. Otherwise you'd have never seen Helmet Catch.
Also, apparently this defense is fucking legit. Never thought I'd see a game where the Rodgers lead Packers passing attack was shut down so mightily.
Man what a game, so good to see the broncos' old hands at the game honoring one of the true great owners in all of sports. It's just too bad ol' Pat couldn't be there in person but I know well the ravages of Alzheimer's and I suspect in his more lucid moments he would hate for anyone to see him in his current state, still it would have been nice to see him there if only from his box.
Anyway, I am pleased, and honestly a little shocked, at how well the offensive line played. Had hoped the bye week would bring the group a little more cohesion but I certainly didn't expect a turn around like that against what had been the second best pass rushing defense in the league. Of course I don't want to get ahead of myself, it is just one game--a high energy, emotional, "win one for the gipper" sort of games at that--and I think the packer's whole "best scoring defense" was a bit overblown as that had been propped up somewhat by playing the two worst scoring offenses in the league as well, but if the o-line can play at least near that level on a consistent basis then the broncos become a very scary team rather than simply a scary defense.

Have to remember, he has no one to throw to any more except Cobb. His starters are all injured, and that game played out pretty much exactly how I thought it would. Rodgers had been not so great against much lesser defenses this season, so I saw this happening with the Denver D. I did not expect the great offense from Peyton though, no TDs but he played a great game. Wonder if that will be the start of a trend upward for him?

Broncos pick up Vernon Davis for a few a sixth and seventh round picks, damn good trade. While Owen Daniels and Vergil Green managed to not look incompetent for the first time all season last night Davis is better than both of them put together and the broncos have been lacking a legitimate short to medium range threat all season.
