Man what a game, so good to see the broncos' old hands at the game honoring one of the true great owners in all of sports. It's just too bad ol' Pat couldn't be there in person but I know well the ravages of Alzheimer's and I suspect in his more lucid moments he would hate for anyone to see him in his current state, still it would have been nice to see him there if only from his box.
Anyway, I am pleased, and honestly a little shocked, at how well the offensive line played. Had hoped the bye week would bring the group a little more cohesion but I certainly didn't expect a turn around like that against what had been the second best pass rushing defense in the league. Of course I don't want to get ahead of myself, it is just one game--a high energy, emotional, "win one for the gipper" sort of games at that--and I think the packer's whole "best scoring defense" was a bit overblown as that had been propped up somewhat by playing the two worst scoring offenses in the league as well, but if the o-line can play at least near that level on a consistent basis then the broncos become a very scary team rather than simply a scary defense.
