Crossposing.

Being the only child to my mother, I had become curious about who my other siblings are. My chance came when I started working at this factory in my town for the summer. Funny thing was is that I didn't know my step-mother works there as well. (I'll to that in a minute). My co-workers y'know would ask me question about myself and eventually ask who my parents was. So yesterday, I was having lunch with my co-workers and I told them who was my stepmother was, (they were shocked) and they told me that my half-sister also worked there last year. 

Today, I went to my temp agency's office which was located in the building, I asked the lady who worked there to show me a picture of her. Sure enough there was a resemblance. Me think this was interesting, went back upstairs and I wanted to double check. I asked this lady if she knew who she was, she told me that's her niece and I then told her that girl is my half-sister and she replied with "So?!" "So?!" it all went downhill from there. 

This bitch went on a nonsensical rant about how she didn't want people messing with her family. In my mind, I was cursing her ass out too. my co-workers who was around there, said she is a crazy bitch too. I don't get it. All I wanted to do was to get in contact with at least one of my siblings. Stepmother is just a stuck up bitch(by that I mean she won't talk to me or look me in the eye), she could have been different but Nooooo just a bitch. In fact, the people(minus a few) on dads family are like that too. I don't understand.

On to my dad, well, not only he's a deadbeat, he's also a coward. The first conversation I ever had with this son of a bitch, was when I started at this community college, this bastard walked out of his class, pulled my outside, and had the nerve to accuse me of harassment. Basically, he was bitch and moaning about how sick and tired of the years harassment by family. Well, he made his bed now he has to lay in it. 

All I fucking wanted to do is meet and get to know my siblings, that's it! sorry for the typos.

If you still want to get to know your half-sister maybe you can try to hunt her down through Facebook, if she has a profile.

Maybe it would be wise to expect a rocky reception to your approach, as not to be surprised.

Sometimes you're better off not knowing some family members. As genuine as you may seem you just can't impose yourself on other people and their families. Especially people you don't know. They may not be ready. Ever stop to think that... I dunno they really don't think highly of your half of the family?

The reason I say this is because I'm so familiar with sibling fallout stories due to the separate moms. You are the victim of a huge web of drama that you haven't even scratched the surface of... and her reaction was proof.

My honest advice is just lay off and not provoke the issue. If it's meant to be in the future it's meant to be.

I'm sorry for being so blunt. I really am.

You can find your sibling through other ways. There's plenty of family that I won't have anything to do with.

my mom hit me for asking about the grandparents i didn't think about having until in a class project i drew my faimly tree with only one set of grandparents.
