Wiiu owners are downplaying it because they are no longer the only ones having while gaming

I don't think Nintendo fans care for games like this.

I'm about as excited to play this game as I am excited to play Metroid Prime: Federation Force.

You don't think Nintendo fans care for games like what? Games that garner their praise from fun, addictive gameplay and an attractive artstyle? This type of game is what Nintendo does best. Plus, it's so, so, so, so, good. Anyone who hasn't at least tried it is missing out.

Rocket League has crossplay, you have downplay.

No Nintendo fan gave a shit about the Blast Ball multiplayer game shown off at E3. That disinterest turned to hatred once we knew it was Metroid.

Football + cars aren't high on the interest list of Nintendo fans.

We wouldn't even be talking about this game if it wasn't given away for free. You guys are seriously overestimating this. Good games come out all the time. This isn't Half Life 3, Metroid Prime 4, Super Mario Galaxy 3 or a home console open world Pokémon rpg.

I ain't missing out on anything. Except a good Metroid game.

Yeah must be great to be the voice of an entire group, your taste are what matters right? I bet if they putted a ''mario'' rocket league in the title you'ld be the first to praise on how awesome the game is but since it's on ps4 and pc you got to downplay, I get the drought is hitting you hard poor you.

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Well your dedication to this thread(considering your post count in this thread) seemed like nintendo fans might care a little for this game.

My example would be something like I won't post in a metroid prime: fed force thread if I actually didn't care for it, that's just me. But here you are...

A couple of things here,

1. That Blast Ball game looked bad, only made worse by Nintendo trying to sell it by calling it Metroid.

2. Since when do you speak for all Nintendo fans?

3. We've been talking about this game since before we found out it was free, especially after hearing the great impressions from people who played the beta.

4. Saying we're overestimating this is funny coming from a guy who's never played the game.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Maybe Psyonix should have turned the football into a mushroom and the cars into drivable squids
System seller for Nintendo fans Samus?

The downplay is real in that one.

You must not have saw the reactions from the beta or how happy many people were when it was announced as a PS+ game.

I'd say they'er kicking themselves for putting it on PS Plus

Only on there for a month right?

Longterm I think it could easily work out in their favour if sales keep up. Without PS+ this thread wouldn't exist for example, the word of mouth and hype generated from it will likely be longterm ( I hope)

Finally something to take on Fifa and Pes then.

Mario Strikers isn't exactly a system seller and would never sell 5 million units.
