If the DVR function works outside gaming that could be useful (recording what you are doing on screen to make a tutorial for example, now no need to download additional software)

Everything else is just fluff to me though, all I want is to start a game from the start menu, and maybe have my time played recorded.

Some of the features are neat, I will say that much. I am assuming that xbl stuff will be free on windows right?

Meh. There was literally nothing there that makes gaming better. The DVR thing was pretty nice but, other than that, it was mostly an ad for what Microsoft is doing to cut into Steam's monopoly. Personally, there was nothing in that video that I would use as a PC gamer.
