So you were a Nintendo fan, then you became a teen and a PS fan? hmmmm.

Your first FPS was Resistance for PS3? Dude dont ever call yourself a hardcore gamer.

I believe any person who can be claimed as Hardcore has had to have been through at least the SNES days. Also they must at least have had played many many many games from all platforms. Im a Nintendo Fan but Ive played my great share of PS and Xbox titles due to my friends.

I started out gaming when I can barely remember on NES, then my family bought a SNES and I fell in love. I played all the classics- Earthbound, Final Fantasies, SMRPG, Killer Instinct. Ah those were the days.

I fell out of gaming until I got a N64 and most of the classics from Ninty and Rare. Then bought a GC about at launch. Loved it from the start but I got PS2 as well. Hated microsoft.

Now I got a Wii at launch and will probably get a 360 someday, but I loathe sony now. Im also a PC gamer.

 It doesn't make a difference how you back up the statement, it will never make sense to me.  I've been gaming for over 21 years and I am sure many on this site have me beat.  Hell, some people started with pong.  I guess 10 years is a long time but... Anyway, it is cool that you like Sony and Nintendo.  I have never understood the fanboy thing.  I also don't understand why you would want to have the most posts.  Thanks for the life story. 

 

Well, Im 17, at first, ike when I was 7-8-9 I went to my friends houses everyday to play N64 and gameboy, my favorite games where mario kart and pokemon. It was for my birthday, august 26 of 1999 that I got my GBcolor with pokemon yellow.
Then I got my ps1 with my first games: The lion king and crash team racing, but I really got in when I got games like Final Fantasy.
I got my ps2 in 2003 and my ps3 in june 2007, and believe me when I say many people, including the guy that that sold me the ps3 told me not to do it.
I think thats the reason I despise nintendo and microsoft fanboys, when I was getting my ps1 I was really happy and I had a frend that laughted at me cuz I didnt get a N64, he did the same when I got the ps2, he said gamecube was way better, with way better games, and it was cheaper than ps2, it had way better graphics and that stuff. I also disliked the guy in the store cuz he was telling me not to get ps3 since it was a feilure and how the xbox had all the games and it was cheaper.
I mean, all the time I had my ps1 and ps2 I didnt bother other people that got nintendo systems but they did it to me, thats why i hate them
