The PS3 price drop and five free BRDs had a massive effect on sales. PS3s that we've had in stock since mid-march are completely sold out at my location.

We haven't seen any Wii's "re-launches" as of late. A query of our main warehouse shows a large amount in stock, but they're probably being held since the PS3 price drop made front page. We always stockpile our inventory until we have enough for a "Wii have it instock" national tab. (about every two weeks)

The 360 maintains its steady pace and we actually have Elites in stock...but a very limited quantity.

I don't remember the last time I saw a PSP walk out the door and the DS is still difficult to keep large quantities of. We don't always have the color people are looking for. Black sells the most.

Okay, that's interesting, looks like the Wii increase in production may not be showing not because of Nintendo stockpiling, but maybe the retailers?

That's quite possible, but I really haven't put any effort into finding out if other retailers use this practice as well. Circuit's been doing it since launch.

Speaking of "Wii-launches", Circuit's next one is this upcoming Sunday (the 22nd). Quantities received are no different than from previous launches.

I see... Oh, well, I guess we'll know whether Nintendo delivered or not when this year ends
