Reggie was on the record recently saying that they're looking to grow in the market for RPGs for WiiU. The kind of partners involved do make sense. ;)

Both Resonance of Fate and VP3 are possible though there's still the matter of ownership
Could just be a spiritual successor to any of these. RoF has nothing to do with sideview though so VP is more likely
