I know they're waiting for TGS, but repeatedly proclaiming a new sense of humility and groveling for support without any announcements to earn it is not impressing anyone.

"Seeing our fans across the world respond to our recent interview with Famitsu, lets us know we’ve made the right first step in acknowledging who we are and where we want to be. Sega is dedicated to bringing you quality gaming experiences and becoming a brand you love and trust again," said Haruki Satomi, CEO of Sega Games in a statement sent over e-mail to SIliconera.

This is up there with some of the best news thus far. SEGA actually owning up to tarnishing their brand value with shitty games. I always say SEGA has what it takes to be the best third party in Japan, got everything they need. They just don't use it or use it right.

Sega can't compete against Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, Yo-kai Watch and Monster Hunter in Japan.

If people don't buy their games they can't be called the best publisher...

What about if I never stopped liking and trusting them and think in the last few years they have been better than ever?

Then you live in a twisted little world. SEGA has been sub par all through 7th gen.

Not if the only SEGA title you play is Football Manager :D :P

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.
