Isn't the 3DS on it's last legs, why open a new studio exclusively for it?

Whoever said it was on it's last legs? Certainly not the sales figures. The "new" 3DS model is doing pretty well, it's still got plenty of games coming to it down the road, and many of those games still sell rather well. Not to mention a rather robust eShop community.

All they mentioned were like 10 games going out on 3ds in the next year. They don't mention plans for after that, I don't think. So this company will start out focusing on 3ds but then probably shift to the next thing as soon as that comes out.

Yes, the sales figures have said that loud and clear. "On it's last legs" might be a little dramatic, but "running out of steam" certainly isn't.

Never heard of this Studio before, but will wait and see what they are going to be making for the 3DS..

Interesting.

Wonder if they'll do anything with the N3DS specifically.
