Yup , if Dragon Ball has an inconsistent type of story like Superman Goku might surpase Superman easly.

Might, but hasn't. As it stands Supes smears Goku.

That's why i said  it might, but if we want to compare then we can compare with the original work by the old writer,  The latest Superman literation is blow some proportion that make the story is unappealing anymore by the inconsistancy of the power.  

I'm not saying this as fanboy...but as someone who has enough backround information on both characters. Goku would win this one.

goku is a cheap rip-off off superman and goku is weak compared to half of all comic book characters and superman is by far more powerful than anyone in db universe and so is thanos or Thor or Dr doom or hyperion or Darkseid or doomsday or galactus or any of his heralds or any omega level mutant or the phoenix force or captain atom or Dr manhaten and shit ton of others oh and superman is by far more interesting than that one dimensional freak goku

I have a lot of background information on them both as well, and no, Goku would be decimated.

No, you need a wide knowlage to be able to judge both of background story, Superman is just a super Man (a Man that powerful among man), while Son Goku was taken from the Journey to West Story were the Goku is the monkey that stand toe to toe with the King of god him self  

^This. Goku might have been the original "Never give up" hero, but he still is the old cheap "never give up" hero. 

But Gods are only as powerful as they are made by the person creating them. Superman by far surpassed anything that anyone in the DB universe had done.

I thought this rematch was a few years too early.

Dragon Ball Super is only a few episodes in, and SSG is only the tip of the iceberg of what's to come. They're just going to have to rematch again in a few years to show off what Super Saiyan Ultimate Gorilla God (SSUGG) can do in comparison to a continuously depowered Superman.
