the world its a mess and the fight for survive stars .and we are one of them and some how im blessed by a god .and now save the world its in my hands now and have go back in time to stop kratos from kill the gods and in the end have a epic fight with kratos because he can live

They could play off of the Thor franchise's popularity (only you'd be killing him but they could just put him in the commercials) so it makes sense from a marketing perspective.

Now obviously this wouldn't be based off Marvel's Norse mythology it would be old-school and the boss battles would be EPIC!  Flying through the skies battling Thor, overcoming Loki's deception, Odin would be the big bad obviously, The Midgard Serpent could be the Cronos like behemoth, Baldur, and SO MANY MORE could be epic bosses.  Egyptian is cool too but lots of redundancy and vague powers.  I think Norse has the best variation in powers and abilities and lore to go with it.
