The Monster Hunter 4 announcement was before the Vita's release. MH3 Ultimate also came out a week before the Vita did.

People asking for it to move to ps4 are crazy. The portability of it is part of its major appeal in Japan. Why would capcom bother making a more expensive version that will just sell less?? It will be on the next handheld that leads the market.

Okay, fine... there may have been some under-the-table action as well.

Or Capcom had a rare stroke of genius and figured the 3DS was going to completely crash the Vita's party based on it's sales till that point.

There is NO WAY Capcom will release the next game on PS4 unless they get funding. The PS4 is weak in Japan, and Capcom may not have the development manpower seeing as they couldn't make SF5 without help. It will go to 3DS/NX.

MH as a game can only evolve on a system like PS4. Better Graphics, better online support, better Gameplay, good Chat support, etc.

The whole Nintendo exclusivity was a huge step backwards for the whole franchise. And i still hate Capcom for doing this move

irrevelant as this is to discuss on the next gen console - NX, PS5, etc...

I'm okay with multiplatforms for all the gamers and if Capcom really wanted more sales.  More so, it would be on handheld as it always be for MH franchise. 

They will probably make some HD ports to PS4 or a spin off, but this all greatly depends on if they can afford it OR if someone funds it.

It little money reserves they will stick to 3DS or next Nintendo handheld.
