Possible. After all, we've gotten Dragon Quest Minecraft, Dragon Quest Pokemon, Dragon Quest Warriors and Dragon Quest Rhythm, so it seems lke all we're missing is Dragon Quest Monster Hunter and Dragon Quest Final Fantasy.

I've never played a DQ game. Since they're localizing VII and VIII on the 3DS, I'll probably pick those up. I've heard great things, so I feel like it would be a great opportunity.

It seems like a really interesting series that needs more love in the west. I don't think it's any more niche than Monster Hunter, and that's doing fine over here now.

I wish I knew you IRL. I could lend you Joker 1 and 2. Great games... I did try an old dragon quest via emulator... have to say it can be brutal not to mention DS emulator lag and it feels like something is missing.

Japan would implode.

That'd be awesome, lol. It's weird that Joker 1 is so much more expensive than Joker 2 on Amazon ($41 vs $13). If they localize Joker 3, I'll try that out and if I like it I'll work backwards with the other games.

And yeah, old JRPGs are pretty rough.

Joker 1 > Joker 2 by far that explains the price. I got joker 2 pre-owned for about $20 a few years back. Its like Pokemon you capture monsters but its different, its plot is pretty good. I hope they don't give the incarnus the shaft in joker 3 like they did in joker 2. The incarnus is the reason for Joker being in the title so it has to be significant. I really hope it comes west. even if Pokemon came out the same year I'd choose it especially if its better than Joker 1.

If both of the other games on the DS came to the west, I think this one might too. Especially since it'll surely sell over 1m in Japan alone.

I'm unsure if Square Enix has said this officially, or if someone was speculating and it just got passed around, but Joker 2 did not sell up to snuff in the West for SE. Hence the no more DQ localizations afterward.
