So let me get this straight. We're going to talk about the successor to a console whose very name is purely speculative. A console that only exists in internet forums. A console whose predecessor is in its 3rd year. Yeah I'm not partaking in this. Enjoy the damn moment people. I'm tired of people talking about game sequels or the next console when the last one has just come out or hasn't even come out or, in this new low, HASN'T EVEN BEEN ANNOUNCED!

It is hard to determine where Nintendo will go next based on the fact we have no idea what the NX even is, and how well it will succeed or fail.

Where does Nintendo, nay, Microsoft and Sony as well go from here?  Why do I involve those two, well because photorealism is almost here if not already.  Wii vitality sensor.  Not just vitality sensor, but sensory immersion.  Not so much holodeck, but close.  Where the 8-bit was in the search for graphical epitome, in the next couple of decades, full immersion will be the goal.  I see how Nintendo offered descretion upon Wiimotes flying off wrists, I see descretion suggestions upon people with bad heart problems.  I see videogames where the player just sits there and by all means, is the next victim of a serial killer.  Everything they see and hear will be as if it were real life and the blur between fiction and reality is not so precise.  How are they going to do this?  I don't know, neural jack?

there is no way to predict anything when we don't even have a single clue as to what the NX is. people are acting as if we already know the NX is a console/handheld pairing, we don't know a single thing about the NX or what Nintendo plans to do with it.

Where does Sony go after the PS5?
