Forums - Gaming - Digital Foundry Performance Analysis: F1 2015

No news here.

1920x1080p vs 1440x1080p (8% over 900p)
About 10fps better on PS4
Neither reaching rock solid 60fps (PS4 close with 50-60fps)
Noticeable more judder on Xbone

Well they didn't talk about the image quality holding for a future Face Off.

Man...they should have just made the Xbox One version 900p. It's a mess.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

10 frames per second is quite significant....

Thank for this informative article

In this console world so many people live in.  On PC 10fps was a big deal 10 years ago.  Now it is nothing.

PS4 slightly better specs than XBO, what else is new?

On PC these days you have to be happen if a game works properly at all. From what i heard F1 2015 has some major issues on PC.

Nice to see them using anamorphic resolution on XBO, much less upscaling artifacts.

They prob should have uped the res and locked the frame rate at 30 on the x1. Or lowered to 720p add in the missing stuff and locked it at 60fps

Sure the game drops/gains a couple of frames on both platforms constantly but I don't think that that will hinder the experience much.

Its like console gamers think PC players only play games that are on consoles.  Arkham Knight was a bummer but tons wouldn't touch that game until it was on sale for $30 two months or so after release.

I honestly forgot about this game, F1.  Would be nice to see how it looks to some other recent racers.
